How do you combine springs and padding layers? My recommendation!

Again: the sleeping sensation is a very personal matter, as is the taste, and you can choose whatever makes sense. The choice below is only my personal preference.

It is not the best choice, it is just an example.

(You don't need to choose the fabric or the zip, so it's just about the springs and the padding)

(I've actually already bought it, so this would be considered a 'true - personal preference')

1) Spring layer: individually pocketed springs

I've written about Best mattress for kids before and I've always been a fan of individual pocket springs.

The reason is also particularly simple: I turn over a lot and my daughter-in-law is very unhappy about it ......

SweetNight has three options for individual pocket springs.

a regular solo pocket springs (cost effective, not expensive)

b triple pocket springs (thicker, more durable, more expensive)

c mini solo pocket springs (more small springs, better elasticity, more expensive)

I've slept on a regular solo pocket spring before and had no problems.

I don't think I would need a thicker 3 wire spring for my weight.

As for the better elasticity offered by the mini one-piece, it doesn't seem to be what people my age need most.

So, a regular solo pocket spring will do.

Affordable, no meat on the bone.

2) Filling layer: three-layer foam structure

-3 layers

Unlike the N-layer structure of many closed-cell mattresses, each layer of Sutera is on the thick side (too thin and easily damaged).

So, you don't have to struggle with whether to get a dozen layers or not, 2~4 layers are usually enough.

In the early days of SweetNight, there were only about 10 different types of padding available.

But now there are at least 15 different types of padding available.

In addition to the usual "foam", "latex", "memory foam" and "coir", there are also some very special materials among these 15. For example, the '3D material' which is very breathable and can be washed directly. Another example is the 'mini bubble spring', which is also very breathable and feels soft. I took into account the needs of all the family members.

In the end, I chose the classic 'three layers of foam' combination.

2cm hard foam

2cm neutral foam

2cm pro-lactation foam

3 layers of foam + individual pocketed springs for better value for money

Some people may look at 'sponge' and think it's low.

The most important thing is that it is not necessarily a bad product. It's true that sponges are not gimmicky and their marketing lacks flair. But almost all mattresses and sofas are made with foam. Pro-latex foam is soft, softer than memory foam or latex. And any harder than hard foam is jute or coconut palm. So, with hard foam, neutral foam and pro-lacto foam you can cover the three sleeping sensations: hard, neutral and soft. In this house, the number of people who come to sleep can be quite "mixed". Inevitably, some people like to sleep on the softer side (like my daughter-in-law) and some people like to sleep on the harder side (like my parents).

If you want the right amount of softness, then put the neutral foam on top.

If you want it to be hard, then put the hard foam on top.

If you want it to be soft, then put the pro-latex foam on top.

In addition, the order of the middle and bottom layers, too, can vary a little.

With three layers of foam, you can layer up to six sleeping sensations by varying the position.

Of course, you can choose from all 15 materials.

You can also choose the 'right' padding for your needs.

For example, if you prefer the right amount of softness but prefer latex, you can use latex instead of neutral foam.

For example, if you like it soft, but are worried about it being too soft, you can use memory foam or flexible foam instead of pro-latex.

If you want it to be soft or hard, just look at the picture and choose for yourself~

And finally

I've already made a promise.

"The bed is good enough, but the mattress must be good"

I didn't have the budget to buy a big brand, so I thought I was missing something.

Now SweetNight has arrived at home ......

No smell! Comfortable! Adjustable!

The whole family loves it, it's perfect!

Originally budgeted at $1000 ......

Actually got it for over $600!

It's worth it for the face and the heart!

I'll be posting actual "reviews and feelings" later.

I'll try to cover as many questions as possible.
